Any chance there could be another issue? Maybe that was a different Nissan with a fuel reading issue or a different issue altogether. The Ford Fusion is the better choice. I j … ust googled a company called www. I was told to change the fuel pump, but at the same time read on the Internet that, in most of the cases, this problem has to do with the crankshaft's and camshaft's sensor. I've had this car for 2 years and this is the only problem I've ever had. After putting low pro 20's on it, I got better handling and more head turning. If I'm not mistaken, the unit is accessible from under the rear passenger seat, correct? I'd give that a shot if you haven't already. Replace the cap, screws and electrical connectors.

However dealers can be expensive, so shop around for the best price or find a friend who can help and save yourself a bunch of money. Use this information at your own risk. They accessed from the circular access hole under the rear seat. Those are most identifiable by the car behaving normally while not using much throttle, but having decreased performance when you give it more throttle. I replaced the crank sensor same thing so I put in a new distributor with the cam built into it because that's what it called for. I purchased an entire used fuel pump assembly on ebay for a fraction of what a new one would have cost. He said I could put a new one, but It was too expensive, so que replaced it with a straight pipe.
I have replaced or repaired two sets of rear brakes. It had to do with the maf sensor mass flow sensor which I changed and solved the problem. Fuel pump is located inside the gas tank.
