I never had this many problems and as many runaround answers from dealer service centers with my nissan's. You turn the ignition on, leave it in the on position until the security light stops flashing. Randomly it will do this more and more often until it won't start anymore. Here is how you save your car 1st trick, Try a spare key that is newer or used less. I have an 1999 acura tl 4 door and the alarm keeps going off i hadhe battery checked and it was good i tried to reset it with the key on the passenger side and noting seems to work. After i put the switch in it still unable to reset the passlock it started fine and ran.

Prior answer: the key is worn out and neededs to be reprogramed to theft module. I am currently having the same problem with my 95 LeSabre. I have had this problem occurring for that last 6 months where the car will not start. You have to wait that 10 minutes because no thief would wait that long to steal your car. I have tried almost everything and still nothing!!! Cut the yellow wire in half make sure you have enough room on both ends to work with.

I never had any warning signs that the system was about to fail, or any security light illuminated before. If it now runs you have been successful. It has not worked for me thus far, wondering if introducing this fix to the situation will be constructive? I let it set and it did start, mean while I read in the manual that a blown fuse could disable the system and it would not be protected. Reinstall the switch and your car should start every time. It rained pretty hard this weekend when the trouble started. Most likely the wires that come from the ignition lock are broke. NewRockies was a Godsend for me cause right now on disability i didn't have the money to throw away on stealership repairs.

You can them at least rule out the key. My rear power windows also stopped working about the same time and now they are working fine so I am extremely satisfied tonight. Passlock uses a magnet in the lock cylinder and a hall effect sensor in the lock cylinder housing. It's a shame they don't tell the customers the truth. Need to measure the resistance of the pelet n your key and basically add that value of resistors to the wire for the lock cylinder at the bottom of the column where they come out. Jack bent over backwards when I had trouble with the original install. Or do i have another isssue? It just bypasses the weak link in the system. I will promote your product as a way to keep some of the older cars on the road with security issues where parts aren't available or the cost is too high to use factory parts. Just sloder them like a rope in a straight line. It actually can be bypassed really easy with a couple of radio shack resistors. Sounds like your having an issue with the security system.
